Piga遺伝子のfloxedマウス。エクソン6がloxPで挟まれている (下流にloxPで挟まれたTk-neoカセットを持つ) 。完全に欠損したマウスの雄は胎生期9日目で致死。モザイクの雌は胎生14日頃で致死となり、頭部や顔面の形成異常がみられる。

The RECIPIENT of BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE shall obtain a prior written consent on use of it from the DEPOSITOR. In publishing the research results obtained by use of the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE, a citation of the following literature(s) designated by the DEPOSITOR is requested. RECIPIENT which wants to use the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE for the purpose other than education or not-for-profit research is requested to enter into a Material Transfer Agreement with Osaka University. The RECIPIENT which wants to use the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE even after five years must obtain a written consent from the DEPOSITOR again.

Developed by Junji Takeda and Taroh Kinoshita, Research Institute for Microbial Diseases, Osaka University in 1997. R1 ES cells derived were used for the generation of floxed mice. The mutant mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J over 10 times.
